Along the way, I’ve sat still, dived deep, felt painfully, danced wildly, studied nerdily, and experimented freely.
People often tell me, “David, you could be a grandpa and a child at the same time.” And somehow, I think that describes me quite well.
Balancing play, fun, and lightness while staying present enough to explore the depths of my being is a Dance that I find myself in.

Taking my path seriously while moving away from taking myself too seriously is a balancing act I’ve come to appreciate a lot.
As a spaceholder, I find myself in a place where I allow myself to be whatever is needed in the moment — from the playful child to the sharp, focused samurai cutting through illusions.
Allowing myself to be anything that is necessary to fulfill my purpose.
